President Trump stated on the weekend that he has asked the family of a Guard member tragically killed last week to visit the White House.

He mentioned that he conversed with her parents and they were “heartbroken”.

Officials have accused a 29-year-old Afghan national with a charge of homicide and two counts of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.

The event caused the government to suspend asylum processing and halt granting entry permits to possessors of passports from Afghanistan.

“She had a lot of compassion and she certainly had courage,” Morrisey informed the audience at the vigil. “Though her time ended too soon, she has left a mark that’s going to be remembered always.”
