Passionate supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who jumped a barricade and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers indicated that he was due to appear on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed contains clips of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Past Trauma

Several followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the actors of Wicked

Many of attendees had assembled in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore venue, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-film version of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two distinct witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten award recognitions, earning two for outstanding attire and set decoration.
