Alleged Bondi Beach Shooters Acted Alone and Did Not Undergo Preparation in the Southeast Asian Nation, Police State.

The two alleged attackers responsible for the lethal attack at a Hanukkah gathering on Bondi Beach, which claimed 15 lives, are believed to have operated independently, according to national law enforcement.

Police also confirmed that Sajid Akram, 50, and his 24-year-old son Naveed Akram, 24, travelled to the Philippines on 1 November. Their travel plans included arriving in the main city Manila before transiting on the day of arrival to Davao City. The pair flew back to Sydney on 29 November.

Lack of Proof of Preparation During Trip

Authorities indicate the individuals did not receive any form of terrorist coaching or "logistical preparation" during their time in the Philippines. Preliminary inquiries from local authorities indicate they "mostly stayed in" their accommodation.

"We are currently examining the material," the commissioner stated, explaining that preliminary reviews suggest that "the two men are believed to have been lone actors."

"There is no evidence to indicate these suspects were part of a broader network, or were directed by overseas entities to perpetrate an incident," she said.
