In a bizarre partnership that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
